Antarctica is a must for  your bucket list and we can get you there! One of our clients has recently returned and this is what he had to say:

I thought you might like some pictures (click here) from my recent trip to Antarctica.  I spent four months on the Southern Continent working for the non-profit Antarctic Heritage trust, helping preserve historic huts at Port Lockroy, Wiencke Island, and the Argentine Islands.  At Port Lockroy, in particular, many tour ships and expedition yacht visited, thus I met many travellers, even some from Wanaka!  I've included a picture of the tall sailing ship, the Barque Europa, at Port Lockroy to give you a glimpse of the setting.  It was incredibly picturesque and penguins (mostly gentoos and chinstraps), seals, whales, and seabirds were abundant.  It was great to have your expertise in getting my flights arranged for the best deal in town. Also, given the limited communication I had whilst working near a penguin colony, knowing that you were available to help me with flight changes or other travel inquiries was very helpful.  It really is true that with World Travellers Wanaka, people are going further, staying in touch!
